Gracewood - The Basement That Built a Bar

(and a Brewery)

This basement started like most builder basements do — basic and full of potential. But one smart decision at the design centre (hello, extra ceiling height) laid the groundwork for something far better. What followed was a total transformation: a custom bar, a dedicated poker zone, a home theatre, and even a small-scale brewery, all wrapped in finishes that feel elevated and intentional.

It’s proof that with the right vision — and a few early, strategic upgrades — a builder-basic space can become the best room in the house.

Here are a few more images of the brewery “in use”…cause why not?!

Planning a basement that’s more than just storage?
I can help you turn that lower level into a space people actually want to spend time in.
